Hello all;
I would agree with matthew that once the concepts are fully understood, it is quite easy to configure a sql*net v2 network using netman. we've been doing it that way for 6 or 7 months. we've added new nameservers, listeners etc quite easily using netman. the few problems we have had are:
- netman generates a listener.ora file with syntax errors if you're listening for more that 1 database on that listener.
- the netman app hangs if you attempt to generate (oracle names and file system) the files to a directory in which they already exist.
