Export Question - Help !

I need help with this problem.
I am trying to do an export to a tape directly, and the size of the export file is bigger than the tape capacity. How do I make export overlap tapes ?
I noticed a parameter called VOLSIZE in my exp version (6.0.32.3.2). How do I use this parameter ? Do I specify it in bytes or blocks or what ? Unfortunately, I do not have the manuals for this particular export version. And this parameter seems to have vanished with Oracle 7.
