Well, this may qualify me as an Unreal Oracle Programmer, but after 4 years of using PRO*C, and a bit of PL/SQL, I now do most Oracle things in Tom Poindexter's orawish. Not only is Tcl-Tk a nice scripting language with enough built-in functionality to do everything I find myself needing to do, I am able to quickly create X-windows front-ends to my databases. The only downside is that Tcl-Tk is slow, although since Oracle ends up doing most of the processing that is not a problem.
