Not to my knowledge. As far as I knew Obackup/Oracle Parallel Backup was developed by Oracle (by the UNIX SBU) and that includes the core I/O part that did the tape multiplexing and I/O buffering and the user interface components, not sure what was left for them to purchase outside. In general Oracle tends to write software not purchase it, and is rather proud of doing so. I can't exclude them licencing some small part, but not to my knowledge.

Not wanting to over-defend Oracle here, clearly Obackup needed more work, but remember that their base image (online) backup is pretty respectable especially compared to supposed high-performance backup products provided by some other vendors.
