With that low amount of RAM, you will be constantly hitting the disk. While we were testing PO7 at Oracle, we found that 12megs and a *large* swapfile were really the absolute minimums for use with PO7; and this would still not be a racehorse. You might try setting a really large swapfile (permanent) and also defrag your disk so the swapfile is contiguous. Try 30 megs if you have the space on your HD. Of course, you could just buy more RAM for your system. Our test systems had a minimum of 40Megs-O-RAM!
