Problem compiling oraperl

Hey all - I'm trying to compile OraPerl 2.4 on a DEC Alpha running Oracle7. The c code all compiles fine but when it gets to the linking stage there are about 3 screen full os fmissing libraries. Can anyone offer a solution?
