Though not specifically related to UNIX, this book is very good.
"ORACLE Performance Tuning" by Peter Corrigan and Mark Gurry (O'Reilly and Associates, Inc.) ISBN:1-56592-048-1
It discusses process control, network issues, disk spreading etc. in a very concise manner.
