What about the SUN Solaris 2.4 problems with starting the listener using IPC's?

We have problems starting the listener if it is defined to listen on IPC. Sometimes it started OK on 1st try, other times it started after 3 to 5 tries. If we only listens on TCP/IP we have no problems at all.
