imports and exports

question should be relatively simple that i am unable to find an answer to.
i export an entire user in version 6 on sco unix, when importing that user
i get errors like unable to import because of unrecognized command "". i look
at the export file (not edit it) and i see that at the end of the export file
is two double quotes like "".
has anyone came across this problem
please help
