I've never tried it myself, but there is apparently a Delphi Add-in call TOleAutomation Client which will allow OLE Automation from Delphi.

This may work.
Contact William Raike(sraike_at_iconz.co.nz) and ask about his product. It's note free, but I don't recall it being too expensive.. -Keith
