ANNOUNCEMENT - Oracle Applications Forum

           O R A C L E A P P L I C A T I O N S F O R U M

         ANNOUNCING THE ORACLE APPLICATIONS FORUM MAILING LIST The Oracle Applications Forum is a new mailing list to serve as the vehicle for members of the Internet community wishing to discuss issues related to Oracle's full line of business applications including:

• Financials
• Manufacturing
• Human ressources
• Project accounting

The list was created to offer a forum which is different from the typical Oracle oriented forums which tend to be much too technical in nature for most people involved with Oracle Applications. In this regard, the questions and answers that are to flow through this list should have a more functional and management flavour due to the specific audience that is being gathered.

How to use the list:

• To send a message to all the members of the list, address your mail to:

                        OraApps-L_at_cpa.qc.ca

        - To send me a message concerning the operation of the list 
          or when you have a problem to report, send the message to:

                        owner-OraApps-L_at_cpa.qc.ca

        - To register as a member of the list:

                        To: owner-OraApps-L_at_cpa.qc.ca
                        Subject: SUBSCRIBE your_email_address

Please take the time to make sure that the address which you want to register is the correct address to use if you want to be reached from the Internet.

At the moment, the list is being managed manually by myself during off work hours, so please be patient for a response when you send me a message. I have obtained the software necessary for automating the management of the list and will start working on installing this shortly. In the meantime, please be aware that there will be no archiving or digests available.

Also, since this list is starting up, there is no need for new members to read the FAQ (there are ne FAQs yet) and no need to check out the traffic before diving in!
