been there, done that. first, you need to decide the frequency of the migration of data. if it needs to be online, then you have a lot of fun ahead. if it can be batch, it is a fairly simple process of extracting the oracle data into a flat file (not export format!), doing any necessary data conversions in the process. one of the most common conversions is for time/date stamps.     

once you have the flat file formatted correctly, you can use whatever import tool you have available for db2.
