Q: NLS_SORT doesn't change in init.ora

Hi,
I've changed the NLS_SORT parameter at the dbs/init.ora initialization file, but after shuting down and starting oracle again, I keep getting NLS_SORT=BINARY from the V$NLS_PARAMETERS view.
Any ideia ?
