I'm running PO7 with just 8 MB. I even can use Forms-4.5. Everything very slow of course and a lot of swapping.

Just make sure:

Remove smartdrv disk caching. Just leave a small buffer of ~200K. Install a big permanent swapfile (~30M).

[Of course, you cannot do serious development with this config. But to evaluate Oracle, learn the concepts, it works !]
