7.1.4's stability is a matter of debate. Personally I'm waiting for 7.1.6 to fix a couple of bugs (23078 and 264900) in 7.1.4. 23078 has to do with getting a space leak on shutdown and not being able to shutdown "clean". This bug is on multiple platforms.
