Database Password? - Netware 7.1 upgrade problem

I just upgraded my 7.0.16.x Oracle for Netware to 7.1.x and it went fine except:

When I try to use the GUI database administration tools ( Database expander, session manager, etc ) it asks me for a password for the database!

I did not, to my knowledge, set up a database password and none that I tried to use
( system's, my dba password, et al )
worked.

What is this? and how do I stop it ?

I have a call into tech support, but this might be faster.
