When compiling with the MODE=ANSI flag all explicit cursors are closed whenever a commit or rollback is done. Some of the code that is written calls stored procedures. When I remove the flag (MODE=ANSI) the code that calls the stored procedures does not receive the correct response from the stored procedure. Are there any work-arounds to this scenario?
