If you use this OS2 product with a remote server, DO NOT MINIMIZE VDMSRV! It made the product extremely unstable. It resulted in constant lost connections to the server. We're using IBM's TCP/IP on a 486/66 with 32 meg ram and a 16 bit 3com ethernet card. No-one, even Oracle, seem to realize how important this can be. It took us 2 months and an Oracle instructor who told us it made a big difference on performance to keep it open. Just move it to the bottom or side of the screen.

The product should come with a big red warning label about this. Gary Melhaff (aka. gmjj490_at_wadnr.gov & olywa_at_aol.com) Oracle and Adabas DBA
