I have an Oracle ws 7.1 and I'm using Visual basic as a front-end. I have the
following questions:
1.
When I'm saving a number (-1,0 or 1) in a field with type: number(5,0), and
then try to read it, it returns a #null#.
In vb I'm using: "Set db=opendatabase("",0,0,"Odbc;dsn=oracle;uid=padi;
pwd=padi") and createdynaset. I'm using the oracle odbc driver.
2.
Oracle as above, but now I'm using the oracle objects data control in vb.
When I try to save the same number in the same field as above, I get the error
message: Ole Automation error. Sql execution error, ora-01722: Invalid number.
Number: 440
Hope somebody can help me find out what I'm doing wrong!
