It was determined that the database objects used by the CASE software were much too complex to be handled by the Oracle installer program.

For that reason, the Oracle installer program does a Client side install only. It only installs the software.

There is a new utility in 5.1 called CASEDBA which is then invoked to configure and install your server side objects which are required for CASE.

Please consult the installation manual for CASE for further details. There is an entire chapter on CASEDBA in the CASE Dictionary Administrator's guide. This chapter should also be replicated in the install guide.
