I'm looking for software/code that performs pattern/string comparisons,
i.e.,
String A in field B has a x% match/correlation with String C in field D.
Specifically, I'm matching names & mailing addresses and trying to identify
potential duplicates. (Capabilities beyond soundex() are required.)
(Oracle
7, Solaris 2.3, PL/SQL, Embedded C environment)
Product names/vendors/references would be much appreciated!
