Even if Oracle decides to port to Motif (and they haven't make a
decision), it won't be very soon. The position has been that they will
only "port" it to UNIX if they can find a suitable porting of MFC to
UNIX. Suitable means both technically reliable and financially secure.
The Oracle CASE SIG continues to try to persuade Oracle that there is a strong UNIX/Motif market for Designer 2000 and that such a port should be undertaken ASAP.
