This appeared in dc.general. It is probably better confined to dc.jobs. Were you aware of the existence of that newsgroup, and the difference in their charters?
Also, it may not be any of my business, but if SIRC is a "leading consulting firm", shouldn't they have their own Internet account, rather than using a publicly-funded university account?
