Has anybody got experience of accessing an ORACLE database on
Open VMS Server from a PC via ODBC,
MS Access / VB through TCP/IP using the ORACLE server
authentication security feature?
I heard recently that there were some serious weaknesses regarding security issues in Oracle 7. The security hole occurs whenever database accounts are tied to host accounts. Is this true?
