  1. I strongly recommend going for Oracle Server 7.1.4, or at LEAST 7.0.16.6 (=7.0.16.4 with obligatory patch)
  2. I would never run 200 users on a Netware box. Your ProLiant may be fine, but run Unixware on it so you get a proper OS. Oracle scales much nicer on that with higher loads (realistic loads, not benchmarks). Unixware 2.0 (out next month) will support multiple CPU's so you can go to the same sort of performance as any DG will give you. If you don't want that, use your DG box.
  3. You'll need at least 128 MB of memory, possibly much more (256 MB) for supporting 200 users. Actual mileage may vary, as they say --> your application.
