Current ssue of ORACLE magazine has an article on using dynamic SQL with PL/SQL. requires running a script called DBMSSQL.SQL.
The copy that came with our current installation (V7.1.3.0.0) has a warning to the effect that it should not be granted to the public because it is not yet supported. Our DBA took one look at the warning and said 'No Way, Jose!'
Anyone know the status of this script? Is there a later version
or is the warning just outdated? This is to impressive a
capability to ignore.
