The format is .ICO -- make sure you check the release notes (I think). You must have the right environment variable (Tk2_ICON, I think) set to a directory or path containing the icon file. For the name of the icon, you put the file name, without the path and without the .ICO extension (i.e. not 'C:\blah\foo.ico', but just 'foo'). Good luck!
