My company is a PowerBuilder software dev company. We have been using PowerBuilder for the past four years. We have built apps on HP, Sun with Watcom (ver 3 thru 4), Oracle (6 thru 7), Sybase (4.2 thru10 ). We have built big apps for several hundred people and smaller apps for workgroups of <10 people. We love it, PowerSoft has done a good job of producing a fairly stable product that interfaces well with alot of different databases. The contract I am currently on has PowerBuilder making use of RPC procedures to Oracle 7.1.x on a Sparc 10/1000 box(es). Talk about performance! We currently have the most CPDs in Canada (and I believe North America). If you have anymore specific questions about Oracle and PowerBuilder, e-mail me at apearse_at_wnet.gov.edmonton.ab.ca.
