I tried the same thing on MS-DOS SQL*Forms 3.0 using WordPerfect to put double-line graphics characters into the ".inp" AS BOILERPLATE. Everything looked good in the designer, but executing the ".FRM" showed SINGLE lines!?!

Didn't you mean the "*.FRM" ? (sorry to nitpick.)
