Syncronizing Oracle7 7.1 UNIX with DB2 2.3 MVS

Running Oracle 7.1.4

I have got two equal structered databases, one Oracle 7.1.4 on a unix platform, and a DB2 2.3 om MVS.

I would really like to implement some sort of replication between the two databases, where changes to one of them are reflected in the other.

I know this is not going to be easy,
but from a theoretical point I should be able to implement triggers in Oracle 7 to do the appropriate changes in DB2 (througs transparent or procedural gateway).
And I might be able to transport changes from DB2 to Oracle7 (with propagator or adjusted CICS modules).

But before starting from scratch, I would appreciate any suggestions or even practical comments. Either at follow-up articles or through e-mail.
