newbie:SQL*Reportwriter; RUNREP accepting parameters

in the middle of a looping construct (in C or PL-SQL), I am picking up fields from a table and trying to pass them through a RUNREP statement to ReportWriter, to execute one seperate report per iteration. Unfortunately, none of my Oracle V6 references show proper syntax for this, and nothing seems to be working.
Have you done this? If so, what is the RUNREP syntax for accepting parameters (parameters' values are field values from a table)?
