Forms 3 problem??

Has anyone experienced slow startup times for Forms3 forms started with runform30 (or sqlforms30 for that matter)?  

I have some forms whose .inp are 5000 lines and more. When I put a trace on time the forms, I experience delays between around 10 seconds to over one minute from executing runform30 until the first trigger is ever fired (!?). Is there some size limit to .inp's after which they load slowly?  

I'm running the forms on a Sequent with four 486's and 512Mb RAM. There is no unsually high load on the machine. I'm using version 6.0.37.3.1 of the dbms and 3.0.16.12.7 of forms3. Any help would be appreciated.
