Are you running OpenVMS VAX? Digital's OpenVMS Alpha and DEC OSF/1 Alpha machines boast excellent performance at very reasonable prices. The AlphaServer 2100 has the same or better performance as competitive Sun and HP machines and is priced much, much less.

Digital is one of Oracle's tier-one partners. Product releases on OpenVMS Alpha and DEC OSF/1 Alpha are concurrent with the other UNIX platforms Oracle supports. Unfortunately, there are times when the OpenVMS VAX line is delayed slightly. We're aware of it as well, and the Oracle/Digital relationship manager I work with here at Digital is working on it.
