Having problems using a function in a package that compiles fine but doesn't want to be used in SQL.

Complains about the function not guaranteeing it won't do a database write.

I know there is a PRAGMA directive to handle this. But I do not know for sure WHAT it is and where to put it. The manuals only talk about PRAGMA EXCEPTION_INIT.

It could be great if someone (maybe from Oracle) could post an up to date list of PRAGMAs.

Please reply direct and I'll include it in the FAQ straight away.
