The connect string for PC Oracle is "2:".

I'm having trouble importing data from our Oracle 7.1 on a SUN to the PC Oracle. When I try to import data using the IMP program on the PC Oracle, it gives me an error stating that an unkown option was used. To simplify the problem, I have also tried to export an single table from the Oracle on the SUN to the PC Oracle and I get a message that it is skipping the table that I am trying to import. Is there a compatibility problem between Oracle 7.1 and PC Oracle? Received on Sun Jan 22 1995 - 03:20:29 CET
