I can only comment on one item here:

Window positions are relative to the content of the window, not the
- Set the window position in Forms to account for the frame; or,
- On Motif, you can set
Mwm*positionIsFrame: true
in either your own .Xdefaults or .Xresources file, or in the tk2/admin/Tk2Motif.* file for your display.
You can also add Keys or Buttons bindings for f.move in your .mwmrc file, so you don't need to use the title bar to move the window.
I don't think this position handling is a new thing, though: this has been true on all versions of Forms for the last two years, as far as I know.
