Pro*C : version 1.5.9.0.1 vs 2.0.4.0.0 question

I am using Oracle on HP and DEC Alpha.

Host type OS Oracle Version Pro*C Release

HP 9000    9.05    7.1.4.10        2.0.4.0.0
DEC Alpha  OSF1.3  7.0.15.4.2      1.5.9.0.1

I am able to compile the files using Pro*C on the Alpha without any problem. But the same files just don't compile on the HP. It finds an error in the very first line of my file [#include "include.h"] Have things changed a lot from 1.5.9.0.1 to 2.0.4.0.0 ? I am not sure if I have provided with all the necessary information. Any hints appreciated.
