Do you think that Oracle will back off its commitment to Oracle Forms and emphasize this as their recommended development tool? Also, will it support multiple platforms? It sounds like they are positioning it to compete with VB, Powerbuilder, etc. We are struggling with Forms 4.0 because of, among other things, some severe resource requirements  on the client workstation. In fact, the only Oracle client/server applications that we have in  production utilize C++ or Visual Basic on the client. VB is no good for many of our apps because out of the 4000 users we have, about 20% are Macintosh. I understand that version 4.5 of Forms is an improvement but is not yet available.
