I have received several angry emails from Dennis Moore <DBMOORE_at_us.oracle.com>, threatening to have Oracle sue me in response to a clearly (to him at least) sarcastic response in this thread to Hank Oredson at Mentor Graphics, Wilsonville, Oregon, USA. and part of a followup to Avinash Patil at Digital Equipment Corp. Hank made the suggestion that because I didn't understand his post, that I must be a "green card or non-green card laborer". And I sarcastically replied that he had smoked me out and that I was a non-Green card Indian who had worked at Oracle Corporation. Since it is highly improbable that a non-Green card or green card laborer, would argue against employment of these groups, at Oracle Corporation and elsewhere, Dennis Moore recognized the irony. For those who didn't, for the record: I am not a non-green card laborer who used to work at Oracle Corporation. You can disregard the two posts I made to the two individuals listed above.

My views on the H1 Visa program, and its utilization by American companies like Oracle Corporation, remain the same - I am against it.     Received on Sun Dec 25 1994 - 04:56:39 CET
