When does support for Oracle V6 stop?

Would someone please confirm that Oracle is dropping support for version 6 at the end of this year, or give me the correct date? I can't call Oracle directly because I am not presently working for an Oracle customer (I'm using Sybase now). I checked the Oracle home page at http://www.oracle.com and also the FAQ at http://www.bf.rmit.edu.au/~dtb/orafaq/contents.html but neither contains this information.
I am applying to an Oracle user for a position as software developer. They are using Version 6 and I want to give them a reason to hire me to upgrade to version 7.
