Oh boy. I got a call a little while ago from the Oracle support engineer who had been working on this with our DBA. He lectured me on my attitude, and said "If you have something positive to contribute to this, I'd like to hear it, otherwise I don't want to hear anything from you". Sheesh! $31.5K per year for support, part of which apparently goes to pay the long distance bill for phone flames.
