Does anyone have experience with using the AOL userexits for Reportwriter. I am getting some very strange behaviour.
H/W HP9000: HP-Ux 9.03
Financials 9.4.2
Reportwriter 1.1
I have followed the setup instructions for making use of the 'AF' user exits, AF_FIRST_QUERY, AF_SRWINIT etc and seemed to get the correct behaviour; however, I have now started to use the following:
#FND GETPROFILE name="GL_SET_OF_BKS_ID" field="srw_field1"
#FND GETPROFILE name="GL_SET_OF_BKS_NAME" field="srw_field2"
as the sources for srw_field1 and srw_field2.
The results are unpredictable and erratic: Sometimes I get -- "GL_SET_OF_BKS_ID" does not exist. Sometimes I get the correct results
If I have a SITE level pair of profile values, and a RESPONSIBILITY level pair of profile values, I have had occasions where the ID returned is the SITE ID, and the NAME returned is the RESPONSIBILITY NAME.
Any ideas, or do I have to go back to passing the items in as parameters ?
