For all those people wanting to connect Microsoft Windows applications to Oracle please read on. Visionware will be at DB Expo, Dec 6-8, New York and offering show specials on SQL-Retriever.

SQL-Retriever from Visionware is an ODBC Middleware product to connect Microsoft Windows applications to UNIX Databases. It includes:

	A generic ODBC driver
	Novell TCP/IP (Winsock compliant)
	PC client
	Host server

SQL-Retriever supports Informix, Ingres, Interbase, Oracle and Sybase. SQL-Retriever does not use SQL*Net, Ingres*Net, I*Net etc. It uses a generic RPC mechanism and so will support connections to multiple UNIX database types at the same time. SQL-Retriever supports all popular TCP/IP packages as well as serial connections.

SQL-Retriever is simple to install/configure and since it is a complete ODBC middleware product, the user only needs to come to one company for support.
