Greetings CASE users.
Need a little help.
This last Friday our company received a CD for CASE 5.1.7 of
win-doze / OS2.
Installed this CD and everthing works fine. However, the CDE tools
included on the CD are outdated, .ie Forms 4.0.12 and Reports
2.0.13.
When I attempted to upgrade the CDE tools to the lastest versions,
4.0.13 forms and 2.0.14 Reports available on the 8/31/94 CD,
certain CASE features break.
My CASE-DBA utility no-longer functions, reports fail to run from
within the CASE dictionary form, etc.
My question is this. Are the newer tools not compatible with CASE
5.1? I can't believe this would be the case. Is there a
methodology - sequence of steps necessary to correctly upgrade the
tools. Please CASE gurus, have an answer for me. I really can't
afford to wait for CDE/2 to resolve these issues.
