Few things I noticed.
1. /etc/sqlnet is now called /etc/tnsnames.ora
(You need to change this yourself, There is also a slightly different
syntax in the file)
2. Check on the database export section of the installation guide.
( A user needs to have the exp_all_databases role granted, etc)
