Oracle and Mosaic

Hi all,

I am working on a project that will allow scientist to retrieve gif files generated on the fly from raw data stored in a Oracle database. Mosaic is our choice of internet tool. I am wondering if there is a way to speed up the database query by using something like GSQL to access the database. Right now I am using the CGI with ProC to retrieve the data from the data base and it is rather slow. What are my other options??
