Server Manager Motif-related problem

We are running V7.1.3 of the Oracle server on OSF/1 V3 on a Digital AXP machine with Motif V1.2-3. When we run the Server Manager, the administration window comes up white on white! This turns out to be a little hard to read [ :-) ]. We have played with the usual ways of changing Motif colors with no luck. Any suggestions?
