In partnership with colleagues at AT&T at the Allentown Works and at 30
Knightsbridge, I am pleased to announce the first meeting of the
reorganized
AT&T Oracle Users Group.
The meeting will be held on either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday of the last week in November (the week after Thanksgiving) at AT&T facilities either at the Kemble Plaza, Morristown complex or at the AT&T Bell Laboratories Murray Hill conference center. (We're waiting on final confirmation of arrangements.)
The first meeting will feature speakers from Oracle Corporation giving technical overviews of the latest Oracle 7.1 features including Parallel Query, PL/SQL enhancements, and Oracle using the AT&T GIS 35xx/36xx family of high performance servers. Front End tools will also be discussed.
An email will be sent shortly to attendees of previous AT&T / Oracle meetings that includes this announcement as well as finalized date and location for the meeting. If you wish to be included in that mailing, please send a note to me at:

Since AT&T and Oracle proprietary information will be discussed in presentations at the ATTOUG meetings, membership is restricted to AT&T employees and contractors holding a current, valid AT&T nondisclosure agreement.
