Forms 4 should work both with Open Windows 3.0 and Motif 1.2. I had similar problems with both of them, but after a little fix they worked OK. And the fix was to copy library $ORACLE_HOME/guicommon/tk2/admin/C to $XHOME/lib. CDE installation manual also speaks about the nls-directory, but I didn't found it necessary.

Another problem was moving forms from one system to an another. My experience says that safest way to do this is to make transfer in text mode and regenerate forms in target system. Minor system or version differences can cause a lot of harm.

Well, my forms are running, but I can't recompile Forms under Motif. Loader complains of one function: XmStrings. What am I missing?
