We will be evaluating the ODBC driver from Intersolv (Q+E). Their marketing literature indicates that they have Oracle 7 ODBC drivers for Sun Solaris 2.X, NT, OS/2 2.1 and Win 3.1. When I spoke with Intersolv, they indicated that they plan to release ODBC drivers for HP-UX and IBM AIX pretty soon (2/3 months).

Our company is interested in evaluating ODBC as a connectivity alternative to Pro*C or OCI. I would be interested in any information comparing ODBC to either of these (performance, strengths, limitations, etc.).
